Sharjah Ruler inaugurates AUS College of Engineering building.

HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated a four-storey building, comprising 35 research and teaching laboratories, and 24 classrooms, including seven smart classes, at the American University of Sharjah’s (AUS) College of Engineering and Science.

According to Wam, Sheikh Sultan unveiled a curtain to mark the opening of the building, and then toured the building’s scientific and research facilities, labs, and classrooms.

The building, which takes into account environmental considerations in line with the University's commitment to the sustainability principles, has received two certificates from the Pearl Rating System – the first system in the Arab world to evaluate sustainability of buildings and residential communities.
