Bahrain opens tender to invest in and run Budaiya Harbour

Work will be implemented under a 22-year period in exchange for an annual benefit fee as part of the tender's terms

Bahrain’s Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning has opened a tender to invest and operate Budaiya Harbour.

The project is located in Block 552 and the project is in implementation of the ministry goals for development the seaports.

Work will be implemented under a 22-year period in exchange for an annual benefit fee.

The investor will pay the cost for maintenance, cleaning and security during the period of contract.  

The tender will close on 25 December 2019 and bids will be opened on 26 December.
