Umm Lulu Gas Treatment Platform recognised as the world's “heaviest single-module topside on a fixed steel jacket”
Abu Dhabi-based National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), a subsidiary of Senaat, announced on Twitter that it has secured the Guinness World Record for the “heaviest single-module topside on a fixed steel jacket” for its Umm Lulu Gas Treatment Platform (ULGTP).
The ULGTP set on a fixed steel jacket weighs approximately 32,000 metric tonnes (MT) was manufactured at NPCC’s 130ha fabrication yard in Abu Dhabi's Musaffah area. The platform handles gas compression, dehydration, and sweetening activities.
