Al Waleed Investment Group has opened its $27.2m (AED100m) Lemon Tree Dubai Hotel on Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah, located close to prominent Dubai landmarks such as Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa.

The 114-key hotel will be managed by Lemon Tree International.

The hotel includes a specialty restaurant serving oriental and western cuisines, an outdoor lounge, a conference hall, a swimming pool, a wellness centre, and other facilities within the 3-star mid-range.

Commenting on the opening, chief executive officer of Al Waleed Investment Group, Mohammed Abdul Razzaq Al Mutawa, said: “The local market in Dubai in various economic sectors is particularly engaging and has continued to gain interest from international companies that aspire to win the best investment opportunities in light of the growing demand for the local environment. Its appeal includes security, safety, better returns, and a competitive global position.”
