The 360-degree infinity pool will occupy the entire 50th floor of the Nakheel development and will open in Q4 2020

Dubai-based hospitality investment and management company, Sunset Hospitality Group, has announced the introduction of a 360-degree infinity pool called AURA Skypool & Lounge at Nakheel’s hotel and residential property, The Palm Tower, at Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

Raised 210m above the ground, the skypool will take up the entire 50th floor of the property and is scheduled to open in Q4 2020.

Sunset Hospitality claim it will be one of the highest infinity pools of its kind in the world.

The pool destination will comprise private elevators that will transport guests to the island-themed oasis in the sky, which showcases greenery and customised furnishings for indoor and outdoor seating. The AURA Skypool Lounge will offer a pan-Asian cuisine as well as beverages.

Commenting on the sky concept, chief executive officer of Sunset Hospitality Group, Antonio Gonzalez, said: “AURA is the result of combining an extraordinary unique location and a carefully crafted design and hospitality experience.”

AURA Skypool Lounge is the latest addition to Sunset Hospitality Group’s portfolio, which currently comprises multiple dining, beach club and nightlife venues in Dubai, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain, Geneva and London.
