Dubai-based property management company Imdaad, which provides integrated and sustainable facility management (FM) services in the emirate, has teamed up with real estate development company Wasl Properties to launch a new library in Dubai’s Al Hudaiaba.

The community library located in Block-4 in Al Hudaiaba will be the first-of-its-kind in the area, and will be home to more than 2,000 books that have been donated by members of the community, the firms confirmed.

The initiative is in line with the UAE’s drive to encourage reading among UAE residents and the nation’s youth in particular.

The opening ceremony for the library was attended by FMS executive director at Imdaad, Naganandh Lakshmanan, and senior operations manager at Wasl Properties, Ali Nassiri.
