Bahrain's deputy PM reviews housing projects in Al Hadd
Sheikh Khalid Al Khalifa was briefed on the progress of each stage of housing units, infrastructure works implementation
During his inspection visit to the Eastern city of Al Hadd, Bahrain’s deputy prime minister and the head of the ministerial committee for development and infrastructure projects, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa reviewed various housing plans that are a part of the new cites project initiated by the government.
According to Bahrain's state-owned news agency, BNA, as part of the visit, Sheikh Khalid Al Khalifa was briefed on the progress of each stage of the implementation of housing units and associated infrastructure works in the city. Additionally, he was also briefed about the plan to provide services and facilities that were included in the general and detailed plans.
Speaking about the projects, Sheikh Khaild Al Khalifa said that the housing cities project has implemented HM the King of Bahrain’s “royal decree to provide 40,000 housing units”.
Shaikh Khalid Al Khalifa also lauded the efforts by the Ministry of Housing, Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning as well as the Electricity and Water Authority for carrying out Eastern Hidd project.
Last month, Bahrain Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa’s Court reviewed the progress made on key developments and projects in each of the governorates, including housing, health, municipality and other projects related to the welfare of the kingdom’s citizens.
