Dubai Festival City Mall enhances offering with 7,060m2 retail space
Upgrade works on the mall’s Festival Bay and the VIP valet entrance are expected to be completed by December 2019
UAE developer Al-Futtaim Real Estate, which is part of the Dubai-based Al-Futtaim Group, will continue to enhance its offering at Dubai Festival City Mall with more than 7,060m2 of additional retail space planned to be occupied by the end of 2019.
Covering a range of offerings from fashion, beauty, accessories, home, and leisure, 17 stores will be opened in December to further strengthen the mall’s existing 400-strong retail collection.
In addition, there will be a two-level Pan Emirates Furniture Showroom. From April 2020, the mall will welcome a healthcare facility by Al-Futtaim, accompanied by a HealthHub Pharmacy.
Meanwhile, upgrade works continue on the mall’s Festival Bay and the VIP valet entrance, which are expected to be completed by December 2019.
Commenting on the additional retail spaces, the director of Shopping Centres Dubai at Al-Futtaim Malls, Steven Cleaver, said: “2019 has been a successful year for us as retailers. We continue to believe in Dubai Festival City Mall and invest in our project as partners. Closing the year with the occupancy of such a significant amount of new retail space reflects our commitment to customers and ambition to excel to cater to their needs.”
The retailers planning to launch or expand their presence at Dubai Festival City Mall by the end of 2019 include fashion, accessories, and beauty brands such as Nike, Al Jaber Optical, B&G, L'Imperatore, Bomb Cosmetics, Farada Milano, Jawhara Boutique, Oud Milano, Ixora, La Zotti, Option Fashion; leisure general home brands such as Pan Emirates Flagship, Booktopia, Fighter Gifts, Miniso; as well as food and beverage brands such as Sweety Shawarma and Sanabel Al Salam.
