Oman’s Ministry of Transport has completed paving internal roads in the residential areas and communities of the town of Al-Khubayb in the province of Yanqul in the Al-Dhahirah governorate.
As part of the road and infrastructure works, the ministry paved tracks in front of houses, mosques, and major corridors in the town, according to the state-run Oman News Agency.
Paving works were also completed in front of the town’s general council, in addition to streetside protections at the entrance to Al-Khubayb.
Oman’s Ministry of Transport has also paved a road linking Al-Khubayb with the state of Dhank. The road is a link to the Al-Dhahirah Governorate, which has eased the movement of people and the flow of traffic.
Commenting on the paving works, the director of the Roads Department in the Al Dhahirah Governorate, Eng. Saeed bin Ali Al Yahyahi, said: “The ministry paved 1,300m in front of the homes and entrances of the town, which is part of its social responsibility to reduce the dust that vehicles raise on roads before paving works are implemented.”
