Dubai-headquarted real estate developer GIOVANNI, which is brand of UAE-based Arthur & Hardman Real Estate Development, has completed its 10,219m2 luxury boutique apartment hotel worth $50m (AED183.65m) in Dubai’s Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC).
The 14-storey luxury apartment hotel opened its doors on 28 December, 2019, with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
The hotel comprises 124 keys, including studio apartments, one-bedroom suites, and two-bedroom suites, and is located 15 minutes from the Expo 2020 Dubai site.
The project is the second completed as part of the Giovanni Suite Collection, which is a development of four boutique apartment hotels named after the Italian cities of Milan, Rome, Naples, and Venice.
Milano comprises a pizza restaurant, a swimming pool, an outdoor sauna, steam rooms, and gym facilities.
Commenting on future plans, the chairman of GIOVANNI, Samir Salya, said: “We plan to invest around $1bn (AED3.67bn) to $1.5bn (AED5.5bn) in Dubai in the next two years. Our Jumeirah Village Circle projects are mainly concentrated on hospitality and hotel apartments and will allow us to deliver over 1,000 units.”
Salya added: “We have started construction work on our third hotel in the Giovanni Suites Collection - Naples by Giovanni Boutique Suites, which is about 204 apartments. Then we’ve got another four projects in the pipeline, which we will be breaking ground on as soon as the approval process completes.”
