Musanada completes $46.3m Mohammed bin Zayed School

Three-storied all-boys school can accommodate 2,550 students and is spread across an area of 2.6ha on a 7.9ha plot

The Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) has noted completion of construction works on Mohamed bin Zayed School, with the all-boys school being built at a cost of $46.3m (AED170m).

Musanada carried out the project as part of the Abu Dhabi Future Schools Programme (ADFSP).

According to the UAE’s state held news agency, Wam, Musanada has begun handover of the school to the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).

The school is a part of the Abu Dhabi Future Schools Programme [image: Wam].

Total plot area of the school is 7.9ha, while the school itself covers an area spanning 2.6ha.

The three-storied school building accommodates 2,550 students, divided between 1,500 C2 and 1,050 C3 students. The facility comprises 85 classrooms.
Facilities with the building include a library, science and computer labs, arts rooms, a multipurpose hall, administration offices, sports hall, a cafeteria, a dining hall, a prayer room for students and the administration staff.

Musanad has also constructed external playgrounds, parking spaces, in addition to external landscaping.

Earlier this month, Musanada noted 58% completion on Al Ain’s Jebel Hafeet School that is being built at a cost of $31.9m (AED117.3m).
