Oman Housing Ministry distributes land plots in North East, Dhofar
Land plots were provided in Al-Rumail, Tawi Saeed, and Quraysh, Al-Shuwayniyyah, Sharbatat, Wadi Ara in the Sultanate
The Oman Ministry of Housing, in a move to cater to the growing demand for housing facilities in the Sultanate, has distributed residential land plots in the North Eastern governorate, Shalim province, and Hallaniyat Islands.
According to an Arabic-language report by the Oman News Agency, the ministry represented by the general directorate of housing in North Eastern governorate gave away residential lands in Wadi Bani Khalid. These plots were provided to male as well as female citizens in line with the eligibility conditions.
As part of the distribution process, the authority carried out a lottery draw for citizens in Al-Rumail, Tawi Saeed, and Quraysh in Wadi Bani Khalid state under 172 requests.
Meanwhile, the general directorate in the Dhofar governorate distributed 106 residential land plots through its office in Shalim province and the Hallaniyat Islands.
ONA revealed that these plots were distributed in the areas of Al-Shuwayniyyah, Sharbatat, and Wadi Ara.
The report cited an official at the Shalim and Al Hallaniyat Housing Office who said that the land requests raised by the citizens were provided for under the eligibility criteria.
