Azizi Developments' 12-storey Shaista in Al Furjan 75% complete

The building's structure is nearly 100% complete, with blockwork and internal plaster having noted 96% and 94% progress

Construction progress at Dubai-based Azizi Developments’ 12-storey Shaista residential development in Al Furjan has reached 75%, with the building’s structure being nearly 100% complete.

Blockwork and internal plaster at the development is 96% and 94% complete, respectively. Meanwhile, façade and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works have noted 78% and 74% progress, respectively.

The company revealed in a statement that tiling and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) are both 68% complete.

Overall finishing works at the residential project has reached 53%. Azizi Developments said that it was on schedule with the progress on the external works that hit 21% completion, with the swimming pool being more than 17% complete. 

Commenting on the construction milestone, executive director of engineering division at Azizi Developments, Mohamed Ragheb, said: “Shaista nearing completion underlines our commitment to timely delivery, all while adhering to our very rigorous quality control and assurance practices.”

In January 2020, the developer completed its $72m (AED265m) Samia residential and commercial development, a 284-unit mid-rise building located in Al Furjan.

Shaista comprises 284 units including 137 studios, 124 one- and 15 two-bedroom apartments, eight penthouses, and 659.5m2 of retail space.
