Bahrain Tender Board opens 16 bids related to six tenders

Bahrain’s Tender Board, which is the independent regulator of the kingdom’s procurement activities, has opened 16 bids related to six tenders for three purchasing authorities.

Four tenders were opened for Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), including a tender to appoint a market-based representative in Saudi Arabia. Two bids were received for this tender.

The second tender to appoint a market-based representative’s office in the State of Kuwait received two bids.

Four bids were submitted for the third tender to appoint market-based representative offices in India. The fourth tender to appoint market-based representative offices in the UK and Northern Ireland received four bids.

In addition, one tender was opened for Tatweer Petroleum for the supply of Lufkin Spares for five years, for which one bid was received.

A tender was also opened for the Bahrain Airport Company for support infrastructure at the Bahrain International Airport. Three applications were received for this tender.

The tender process was attended by representatives of the bidding companies participating in the tenders.

In line with the Tender Board’s guidelines on competitiveness and fairness, the bids will be assessed on all relevant technical and financial criteria before being awarded to the best fit candidate.
