DHA director-general inspects Dubai Hospital expansion project
Phase 1 of the project in the emergency department included work on the treatment, isolation, and resuscitation rooms
The director general of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), HE Humaid Al Qutami, has completed an inspection of the expansion project at the Dubai Hospital.
The emergency department at the hospital, which receives 120,000 patients per year, has completed Phase 1 of its expansion, which includes developments on its resuscitation rooms, isolation rooms, patient treatment rooms, reception, and waiting rooms.
Al Qutami also toured the expansion of the surgical intensive care unit, which aims to increase the bed capacity from 9 to 14 beds.
He emphasised the importance of meeting the deadlines of the project, and concluded his tour with an inspection of the parking expansion project at the hospital, which is looking to expand to 916 parking spaces to meet the growing demand.
