Oman's Ministry of Health awards $10.9m O&M contract to ONEIC
Contract is awarded for The Royal Hospital for a three-year period, starting from 1 April 2020 to 1 March 2023
Muscat Securities Market-listed (MSM) Oman National Engineering & Investment Company (ONEIC) has revealed that it has secured an operations and maintenance (O&M) contract worth $10.9m (OMR4.2m) from the sultanate’s Ministry of Health.
In a stock market filing undersigned by its chief executive officer, Rashid Bin Mohammed Alghailani ONEIC said that the contract was awarded on 3 March 2020 for The Royal Hospital for a three-year period, starting from 1 April 2020 to 1 March 2023.
ONEIC in September last year secured a $4.6m (OMR1.8m) contract from a government entity to upgrade the electrical capacity of a power plant for a period of 360 days.
The company has previously also secured a $117.3m (OMR45.1m) contract to build, operate, and transfer a sewage network for Sahalnoot district in Salalah for a period of 17.5 years from Salalah Sanitary Drainage Services Company.
