Bahrain has begun maintenance works of the expansion intersections on Shaikh Salman Flyover, which has necessitated the closure of lanes.

The Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs, and Urban Planning has revealed that the fast and middle lanes for northbound traffic will be closed.

In addition, the work also necessitate the closure of the loop from Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway to Shaikh Salman Highway leading to the Sehla area.

The closure will be effective from 11 pm on Tuesday, March 24 to 5 am on Friday, March 27.

The ministry has reiterated the importance for road users to observe traffic rules for the safety of all, according to the state-run Bahrain News Agency.
