Saudi's commercial arbitration centre opens branch at SPARK
The new branch comes in addition to SCCA's HQ in Riyadh and representative office in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC)
The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) has opened its new branch at King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), located in Al Khobar, as part of its strategic plan to expand and support its client base.
The branch was inaugurated by the president and CEO of SPARK, Eng. Saif Al Qahtani and CEO of SCCA, Dr. Hamed bin Hassan Merah, and comes as an addition to SCCA’s headquarters in Riyadh and representative office in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC).
As part of the inauguration Eng. Al Qahtani said: “Joining as an integral part of SPARK’s unified service center, SCCA will contribute to creating a business-friendly environment for both foreign and domestic investment by eliminating obstacles and difficulties related to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)”.
Meanwhile, Dr. Merah said that the opening of the new branch comes as SCCA’s role towards achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by “fostering an environment that attracts and supports investment, and further develops institutional arbitration in Saudi Arabia”.
The opening of the SCCA’s latest branch will assure investors that their investments will be protected by both local and international law.
