Jaguar Land Rover's regional headquarters marks construction completion

The facility spans 14,000 sqm and comprises an engineering testing centre, customer relations centre, and academy

Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), which is an integrated free zone technology park, and the regulatory body for Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), announced the completion of construction on the regional headquarters of automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover Limited Middle East and North Africa (JLR).

The JLR regional headquarters spans a total area of 14,000 sqm and comprises an engineering testing centre, a customer relations centre, and an academy which includes a workshop space and a training showroom for JLR's sales force.

Commenting on the announcement, vice chairman and chief executive officer of DSOA, Dr Mohammed Al Zarooni, said: “This milestone is one step on the journey to present employment opportunities in advanced technological fields of engineering, also contributing to the diversification of the UAE’s economy.”

Speaking about the regional headquarters, managing director of JLR Middle East and North Africa, Bruce Robertson, said: “We are confident that the regional office will enable us to add value to our operations in the Middle East and North Africa. DSOA is well-known for its status as an advanced testbed for pilot projects, and we look forward to more fruitful collaborations on specific smart transportation projects.”
