Dubai Financial Market-listed real estate developer Damac Properties has handed over the homes within Ghalia, its first sharia'a-compliant project, which features 727 luxury apartments in the emirat'es Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) residential community.

In keeping with sharia'a law, Ghalia features separate amenities for men and women, including dining facilities, gyms, and swimming pools.

The residential tower offers a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments with kitchens, furnishings, bathroom fittings, and bedrooms.

Speaking on the project, general manager of operations at Damac Properties, Ali Sajwani, said: “Ghalia caters to the growing demand for luxury living that complies with sharia'a laws.

“With the handover, our total number of units will hit the 25,000 mark, and we’re aiming to set more records by handing over even more homes and hotels within this year.”
