HH Lt Gen Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has reviewed security plans for Expo 2020 Dubai, including event maps covering details of security plans for traffic, field operations, the work of the Criminal Investigation Sector, various supply and support sectors, and other relevant teams.

Sheikh Saif bin Zayed was also briefed by Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of Expo 2020 Dubai Bureau, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, and executive director of Expo 2020 Dubai Bureau, Najib Al Ali, on the latest construction preparations and other developments surrounding the event, which opens its doors on 20 October, 2020.

The meeting was attended by Saif Al Shaa’far, under-secretary at the Ministry of Interior; Dhahi Khalfan, deputy chief of police and general security in Dubai; and Maj Gen Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police and Chairman of the Security Council, UAE state news agency, Wam, reported.
