UAE-based third-party logistics (3PL) company Gallega Global Logistics has launched a 32.5ha facility within the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) to meet the growing demand it faces for road-based supply chain services, with the new hub offering finished vehicle logistics, general warehousing, automobile workshop, customs clearance, and transportation services.

The inauguration ceremony of Gallega’s facility was attended by senior representatives from Abu Dhabi Ports and Kizad.

Commenting on the development, Abu Dhabi Ports' chief executive officer, Capt Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, said: “Since its inception, Kizad has already attracted a wide arrange of industries, including aluminium, packaging, food processing, polymers, and, of course, automotive.

"Kizad is rapidly expanding as more and more companies see the value of having a presence here.”
