Four intersections have opened in Al Ain.

Al Ain City Municipality and Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanda) announced the opening of the Al Aflaj (No 115), Al Qasr (No 118), Al Ahlia (No 166), and Rotana (No 177) intersections as part four $119m (AED438m) developments that Musanada is implementing at present.

Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) and Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ) were also involved with the projects, which ITC said came in support of their joint efforts to “meet the requirements of the Surface Transport Master Plan of the emirate of Abu Dhabi through the provision of an integrated, safe, and sustainable transport system to keep up with the demographic growth and urban development.”

Abu Dhabi Police GHQ said the new intersections in Al Ain City would enhance traffic flow and provide maximum levels of safety for drivers and pedestrians, Wam reported.
