Saudi Arabia-based contractor Al Bawani has signed a contract with Asharqiya Chamber to build the Al-Kharwa Investment Tower in the kingdom.

Worth $89.3m (SAR335m), the contract was signed by Al Bawani's general executive manager, Eng Fakher Al-Shawaf, and Asharqiya Chamber's board chairman, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi.

Al-Kharwa Investment Tower will be located next to Asharqiya Chamber's HQ on the Khobar-Dammam highway.

Commenting on the project, Al-Khalidi said the board’s decision to move forward with the project would play a "vital role" for the business sector in achieving the kingdom's Vision 2030.

He added that the project's design accounted for "the various needs that are commensurate with the aspirations of the business sector", adding that its design would suit the needs of modern business-owners.
