Aldar's Al Falah homes in Abu Dhabi due for end-2021 completion
Abu Dhabi Housing Authority picked Aldar earlier this month to develop the 899-home community
Details have been revealed of the Al Falah community that Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange-listed (ADX) real estate developer Aldar Properties will implement for Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, with the $512.4m (AED1.8bn) scheme to see the construction of 899 homes in Abu Dhabi.
Aldar was picked to deliver the Al Falah homes as part of a wider set of contracts that will see it deliver projects worth $1.4bn (AED5bn) for the Abu Dhabi Government.
The Al Falah homes are expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
Al Falah is a masterplanned community developed for UAE nationals and covers an area of 12.5km2, featuring three- to five-bedroom villas.
The new community that Aldar will develop is set to include parks, schools, shops, amd medical and community centres, which are designed to be energy-efficient structures.
According to a report by UAE state news agency, Wam, the complex will also include a mosque that can accommodate nearly 2,000 worshippers.
