We Work to open 5,000m2 space in UAE at Abu Dhabi’s Hub 71 by 2020

US-based tech firm We Work is set to enter the UAE with the launch of a 5,000m2 workspace in Abu Dhabi, with its facility in Hub 71 – part of Abu Dhabi’s Global Market Square at Al Maryah Island – due to open in early-2020. 

According to UAE news agency Wam, We Work’s managing director for international operations, Anthony Yazbeck, said: "The UAE’s capital city attracts innovative founders, established businesses, entrepreneurs and startups; the same type of people and businesses that call We Work home around the world.

“Our mission is to create dynamic environments where these groups can learn from each other, increase productivity, recruit and retain talent, and bring the ideas of the future into reality.”

Meanwhile, Hub 71’s chief executive officer, Mahmoud Adi, added: “We Work shows that Abu Dhabi is ready to welcome global tech talent, international startups, and founders from all parts of the globe.”
