According to data from DMS Projects, several companies have shown interest in the latest EPC tendering round for the onshore facilities project of Hail & Ghasha after the cancellation of previous agreements last month, reported Oil & Gas Middle East.
The announcement of the participating contractors is still pending.
ADNOC recently ended two important contracts related to onshore and offshore activities for the Hail and Ghasha sour gas development, raising concerns about the project’s schedule.
Nevertheless, ADNOC appears to be moving forward swiftly with the long-delayed project, which is one of the largest oil and gas ventures in the UAE in recent years. It plays a crucial role in Abu Dhabi’s efforts to expand its gas production capacity by the end of this decade.
The Hail and Ghasha project is expected to contribute to Abu Dhabi’s aspiration to become a prominent hydrogen producer.
