The Abu Dhabi General Services Company, Musanada, has announced that it has completed all infrastructure and housing works related to the Abu Samra Residential Complex project in Al Ain.

Spread over 24.8 hectares, the Abu Samra Residential Complex project involved the construction of 61 residential units, along with infrastructure like the construction and paving of streets, sewerage networks, potable water, telephone, electricity and other services.

The project, which had a total cost of $51.4m (AED189m), will now be handed over to the authorities who will distribute the housing to eligible UAE nationals.

Ali Al-Muherbi, executive director of building services and project management division, Musanada said, “The Abu Samra Residential Complex is one of the exceptional residential projects that will meet the requirements of the citizens of the region.”

“The housing design took into consideration meeting the needs of Emirati families in terms of capacity, multiplicity of rooms, and provision of all the necessary facilities and services,” Al-Muherbi said. “The project is also an addition to that region, which is witnessing a great development in various sectors.”

Al-Muherbi also noted that the Abu Samra project was completed in line with the vision of HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the UAE, to provide family stability and adequate housing to UAE nationals all over the country.

“The Abu Samra project received the attention of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces, who is committed to providing housing that meets the needs and expectations of the Emiratis, and promotes social well-being and family stability,” he said.

Al-Muherbi added that the project has also been completed in line with the objectives of Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.

“Musanada is committed to providing every means possible to support the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, through the creation of residential complexes with world-class and contemporary levels of provision and comfort, in accordance with the best international standards adopted in this field,” Al-Muherbi said.
