Emirates Financial Towers has awarded US-based Robotic Systems the rights to develop the high-tech system – thought to be one of the largest automated parking facilities anywhere in the world.

“With this technology, an individual will not need to drive through the garage to find a parking space,” said Hani Abu Audia, chief executive, Emirates Financial Towers.

“You simply drive your car into one of the multiple entry exit stations and leave your car to be picked up by the robots that will park it inside the building on a shelving system.”

Based in Dubai International Financial Centre, Emirates Financial Towers will be a mixed-use development, offering ‘Grade A’ office space.
