Companies asked to prequalify for the design, construction, completion and commissioning of key services at Garraf Oil Field

Petronas has floated a prequalification tender for an oil development project in Iraq.

The state-owned Malaysian oil and gas giant is currently engaged in the exploration, development and production operations for the Garraf Oil Field with South Oil Company.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the design, construction, completion and commissioning of the Garraf Integrated Control Centre (GICC) building, three entrance check points, a maintenance workshop, a laboratory, an annex building, a dining facility building, upgrading of existing fire station, a Surau, associated infrastructure works, and hard and soft landscape works.

Bidders must have completed a similar turnkey projects with a minimum contract value of $40mn for a single project or a cumulative contract value of $60mn for two projects within the last five years in the Middle East and North Africa region or Iraq. Joint ventures/partners and consortiums are welcome.

A prequalification document request must be made to tender_iraq09petronas.com.my via email by 13 November 2014.
