The Yanbu Lake Project is complete and has opened to the public, Arab News reports.
Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Zahrani, director of the development programme for the rehabilitation of the lake, highlighted the project’s development, landscaping and irrigation management of the area.
He said the lake project covers an area of more than 2,982m² and has a capacity of 4,175m³. The surrounding parkland includes 21, 276m² of green surface with 224 palm trees, 149 plants and 1,590 shrubs, he added.
The project also includes gardens, children’s playing areas and other amenities.
