Compass Project Management (Compass PM) has been awarded the project management contract for Souq Extra! Dubai Silicon Oasis Mosque.
The project, construction of which is due to commence in November 2016, represents the UAE-headquartered firm’s first new-build development.
The win forms part of Compass PM’s strategy to branch into the region’s new-build sector. The company is best known for delivering fit-out-related project management services across a range of market segments, including food and beverage (F&B), retail, commercial, and residential.
Compass PM’s co-founder, Luke Somerville, has been assigned to the role of project manager at Souq Extra! Dubai Silicon Oasis Mosque.
Commenting on the project win, Somerville said: “We’re pleased to be able to make our mark in the new-build arena with such an interesting project, and with an exciting client such as Souq Extra!.
“The mosque will be a great asset to the immediate and surrounding community, and provide a significant landmark to the local area,” he added.
The development is scheduled to complete in June 2017.
