Ssangyong Besix JV was appointed as the main contractor for the project in Q1 2016 with Kohn Pederson Fox Consultants, WSP and DEC PMC, Faithful & Gould as part of the design team.
NFT supplied 10 Potain MR 418 tower cranes to facilitate construction works on The Royal Atlantis Residences site in May 2017.
The Royal Atlantis is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019.
K.S. Ravikumar, executive director – International Operations, S&T said: “We are delighted to be working on the next modern wonder of Dubai and showcase our capabilities as a leading turnkey fit-out partner for luxury.”
The project remains on schedule despite undergoing adjustments to its design in the last year, Pierre Sironval, managing director of Six Construct told Construction Week in July.
“The Royal Atlantis is progressing a little slower than expected because of some adjustments to the design,” he said. “These adjustments have been conducted over the past year in close collaboration with the client.”
