CW In Focus | Inside Deyaar's Midtown community in Dubai

Construction Week's latest video explores building progress on Deyaar's 47ha development in Dubai Production City

Midtown is the first community-focused project that Dubai-listed Deyaar Development has carried out – how is the project being built, and when will it complete?

The township is located in Dubai Production City, which the company describes as the growth corridor in Dubai due to its proximity to Jebel Ali Port, Al Maktoum International Airport, and the Route 2020 extension of the Dubai Metro Red Line.

The project covers 46.6ha of land near Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and is split into six zones, each with a mix of residential towers ranging from six to 19 storeys.

Zones 2 and 3 will be the first of Midtown to be completed, and Deyaar expects to hand them over in Q4 2019. Together, the zones feature 13 buildings with more than 1,200 residential units.

More than 90% of the units in these two zones, called Afnan and Dania Districts, have been sold to date.

In this video, Construction Week's deputy editor, Oscar Rousseau, outlines the major milestones achieved by Midtown, including a notable health and safety achievement
