Dubai’s housing market is beginning to gain momentum after Property Finder released data showing that the off-plan market accounted for the majority of house transactions in the emirate during summer 2019.
Sales during June, July, and August 2019, off-plan residential 5,032 transactions, worth $2bn (AED7.3bn) were conducted in Dubai, marking growth over June-August 2018's 3,462 transactions.
Property Finder’s report also revealed that in terms of total volume, Dubai witnessed 8,833 residential sales transactions in the summer of 2019 compared to 6,618 deals in the corresponding period of 2018.
Property Finder’s director of research and data, Lynnette Abad, said the off-plan market is still a very lucrative investment in Dubai.
