The Legal Table: Fenwick Elliott answers your questions on COVID-19

Registrants for The Legal Table webinar were given the chance to pose their questions to Fenwick Elliott

Global construction and energy law specialists, Fenwick Elliott, has answered a series of questions from registrants tuning into The Legal Table webinar, which took place on the 5th May.

When registering, participants to the webinar were given the opportunity to ask Fenwick Elliott’s managing partner for its Dubai branch, Ahmed Ibrahim, and partner, Patrick Stone, any queries on the legal implications of COVID-19.

One question posed to Patrick Stone was establishing the difference between Force Majeure and the FIDIC Red Book 1999, while another asked what would be the alternative means of recovery if a contractor was denied on-site.

The Legal Table aimed to offer all stakeholders in the construction industry an opportunity to hear from experts in the legal field, who explored the impacts, offer advice and discuss how they are supporting construction clients during COVID-19.

Fenwick Elliott will return for a second webinar of The Legal Table alongside Hammad Al-Mehdar to discuss legal matters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the 16th June at 2pm (UAE time and 1pm KSA time.)
